Food was good, service was amazing and the atmosphere was very nice with an ocean view. The only think i didn't like was when we had dinner our last night there I saw a big huge cockroach.
Restaurant is filled with beautiful art on the inside, but you can't beat the view outside. The staff is super accommodating with customizations and getting things out quickly or adjusting your seat if the sun changes. The food is fabulous - amazing tacos, tasty salsas, creamy guac, crunchy chips, and yummy margs.
There isn't that much of a selection but what they have is good literally everything that's on the menu. I had the ropa vieja beef dish and it was satisfactory according to the ambiance and price. The service was on point and they checked up on us enough. It was empty during our accountability meeting so we didn't experience the place in a busy setting. The selection could have been bigger and the pricing could've been lower but you get a nice place and good dishes.
A great find near the cruise terminal with outstanding service ( Thanks JR ) limited but adequate selection of brunch items and libations ! We would visit again ! Only downside traffic can be standstill on cruise days if you don't pay attention to your directions . The crab dip was the bomb! Great wine prices ! Validated parking !
Fuego is still the satisfying restaurant that I experienced years ago. Seems folks have been disappointed with the service, but the service for my party of 6 was on top of things yet again. I've enjoyed every item I ordered here. This time, I got the Crab Cakes ($22) which were two generous cakes of jumbo lump crab meat fried with panko crust. The Choriqueso ($16) was a nice sharing plate of melted Oaxaca and asadero cheese with spinach and chorizo mixed in it. The Side Fuego Salad ($16) was more of a main! It was definitely larger than your regular side salad and the medley of pecans, goat cheese, heirloom tomatoes, and sliced apples in a creamy chipotle dressing was the perfect complement to our other dishes. For drinks this time around, I loved the French 75 and Premium Fuego Margarita. They do a great pour on the drinks! Romantic view of the LB skyline and water, high ceilings and Mayan decor makes you feel like you're in a resort far away. They validate parking, but we still had to pay $5 while being there for about an hour or so.
The food is good. The margaritas are strong. The staff is friendly. And a beautiful view of the bay. What didn't go well? The manager Ali is not very good at customer service. And communication as to who gives gifts certificates to this place. If you're looking for a gift gift certificate, you need to talk to the manager who seems to say yes I'll be down in 20 minutes later after being bugged a couple times still doesn't show up or am , my case they showed up looked at me went down the stairs and never came back. If the staff has as much service skills as Holiday does. I would never ever come back or ever recommend that anyone come here again.
We came here to get our parking validated. They had a few unique things on the menu. The food and drinks were good and the service was very quick and friendly. There were nice views of the port. I'm sure most people come here if they're staying at the Maya hotel. The menu went along with that theme with Central American food. They had a pisco drink on the menu which isn't super popular and it was good! I wouldn't say it's anything amazing worth going out of your way for but if you're in the area and want a drink/bite to eat, it's a good place to go.
Went at the end of June with a group of coworkers for lunch. Sara was our server and she was great! She was Enjoyed the Cilantro Lime Skirt Steak Tacos and it filled me up. Can't go wrong with the ambiance topped off with a view of the Long Beach Oceanfront. Parking validation up to four hours was more than enough time for a weekday lunch. Unfortunately I didn't take any pics (taking in the view and the ambiance) being in the present and just enjoying the company. Will definitely go back!
This is place is beautiful! Both indoors and outdoors offer beautiful views of the coast. Outdoors you get a better view of The Queen Mary ship. Service is amazing. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive to everyone's requests. I didn't get our servers name but he was very kindhearted. The food was delicious, highly recommend the breakfast and lunch here. The Choriqueso is a must order along with the Cucumber Basil Martini.
